Ultrasound is an invaluable imaging modality in the evaluation and management of abdominal  diseases. It can identify key pathology in many diseases. While it is helpful diagnostically in many cases, it can also provide prognostic information that may change management and help guide treatment.

Pathology is that part of medical diagnosis that tests and evaluates blood examination and  body  fluids for any inconsistencies and deficiencies.
